About Me
My name is Sylvia Deppeler and I have been passionate and, for many years now, incredibly committed to correctional body work, aiding comfort, better alignment, improved posture and wellbeing. I first experienced Bowen Therapy more than 20 years ago and I found it helped ease contortions and tensions in my twisted body, it improved the straightness of my spine and it also helped me through the trauma of a stem cell transplant whilst trying to survive cancer.

The Emmett technique was the very first career direction I took post cancer recovery because the veterinary nursing profession constantly triggered memories of my own trauma and battles post cancer diagnosis and treatment regime.
Sadly, I was misdiagnosed on two occasions, causing not just damage to the physical body with incorrect treatment, but also mental, emotional & psychological damage. Being told that I only had 6-12 months to live also affected my husband and developing children.
Bowen Therapy, Emmett Technique and the Emotional Energetic Therapy I adhere to on this website, have gifted me with much relief, a positive awakening, emotional balance and hope for the future.

I have a strong passion to help people that are struggling with pain, be it physical, emotional or mental, as all is reflective in their bodies.
Love, care & nurture is the basis of my work, originating from all my animal husbandry experiences.
A body and mind has the right to be free.
